Returns & Refunds Policy

At Reluctantly Domestic, we stand behind what we make. Because many of our products are handmade, small-batch, or digital, our return policy varies by item type.

Physical, Non-Food Items

We accept returns on eligible physical, non-food items within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition

  • Items must be returned in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we’ll provide return instructions and a shipping label.

Food Items 

Due to the nature of food products, all food items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can make it right.

Handmade & Custom Items

Handmade or custom items (including special orders or personalized items) are non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Digital Products

All digital products (including downloadable guides, digital files, and online courses) are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Once access has been delivered, all digital sales are final.

Sale Items & Gift Cards

Sale items and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
The fastest way to get a different item is to return an eligible item (if applicable) and place a new order once the return is approved.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if:

  • your item is damaged

  • your item is defective

  • you received the wrong item

We’ll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Refunds

If a return is approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping information at checkout.
We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
